Phenotypic Data
| Remark |
The IMR-91 lung-derived line was initiated on 2/24/76 from explants of minced tissue of both lungs from an approximately 12 week fetus. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XY; normal diploid male. The reported number of population doublings achieved to senescence range from 49 to 76. The HLA typing is A2, A11, B18 and B5. G6PD is isoenzyme type B and 6PGD is isoenzyme type A. |
